Hello, friends! Welcome to my FIRST ever blog post! Glad you are here. I plan on making and posting many more to come.

Called.

Ever since I was a younger teen, I’ve always felt as if I was called to something more than just the norm. In 2017, I went on my very first ever mission trip to South Carolina and it was one of most incredible trips I’ve ever been on. We got to speak life into the life of others, help establish a church, talk and make connections with people we’ve never talked to before, and watch God harvest the seed that we planted throughout it all! There were times where I got a little homesick, felt discouraged, anxious, and even disqualified— but, the Lord stood with me and gave me strength every single step of the way! Ever since that ONE trip, I wildfire for missions grew so vastly throughout me.

At the beginning of May, getting closer to my high school graduation, I had been pondering about what I wanted to do with my life after high school. Did I want to go to college? Did I want to go straight into the work force? Did I want to take a gap year and just see what comes along?

I realized that it was all “do I want (fill in the blank), and not what does God want/have for me?”

I started to shift my focus. I began to pray for Gods will to be done over my life over my own. I asked for His guidance and direction because to be honest- I was completely clueless as to what I was wanting to do with rest of my life.

One day, I came across “9-month mission trip. Worldrace Gap Year.” I was intrigued to say the least. It had my full focus. I looked into it, and prayed about it. After some time in prayer, I got accepted to go on the race & my mom even AGGRED to me going! I knew it was a God thing after all that! He was in the details from day one.

If he calls you to it, He will get you through it.

You may be a senior in high school with graduation approaching soon not knowing what in the world you want to do with your life, etc. I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to have it all figured out. I’m here to tell you that don’t have to have stress about figuring your whole life out right now. I once was that kid that stressed about every single thing because I never knew the full-picture. I get it! We like to know what, when, and where. We like to know the details.

i‘m here to tell you now that you don’t have to have it all figured out.

You don’t have to know every single detail; God knows ALL.

Let go of your life. Give it back to the one that knows all.

Friend, He will get you through all that you are worried about. He will get you through all the stress. He will get you through what He has called you to.
